Drafts
Park a half-written todo as a draft, finish it on its own page, and create it when it is ready.
Not every todo is ready the moment you start typing it. A draft holds the title, description and properties you have so far without filing anything into a list.
Saving a draft
In the composer, Save as draft (the button beside Clear) turns what you have typed into a draft and opens it as a full page — the same page a todo has, with the title field, the property bar, the description editor and a list selector. An empty composer works too: it becomes an untitled draft, so the button doubles as “give me the full page”.
Press Create todo on the draft’s page when it is ready. Until then the identifier slot reads Draft: a draft has no number, so nothing in your history refers to it until it exists.
Finding drafts
A Drafts row appears in the sidebar while you have any, with the count at its edge. It opens the Drafts page, where each draft is a row that opens the draft and a Discard draft button on hover; discarding can be undone from the toast or with ⌘ Z. The composer lists your drafts too, so a draft started on one list is one click away on another.
What a draft is not
Drafts are yours alone: other members do not see them, and they stay out of every list, view, count and agent query until created. They do sync between your own devices, so a draft started on the phone finishes on the desktop.
